Comet Panstarrs

Anyone else get any pictures of Comet Panstarrs? Marlena and I spent a couple of nights in Sedona specifically so I could photograph the comet. Here are a few of those pictures.

FYI, because of the wide angle lens used in the first shot, the comet is small and hard to see. But it's there almost directly below the moon and close to the horizon.

It was cloudy here so I didn't get a chance to observe. It's photos like these that make me want to move.

They're all impressive. I really like the third one, particularly for the bright crescent moon. You should be selling them. I'd buy.

Thanks guys. Also I should note that I was never able to see the comet with my naked eyes although my wife could. I could see it in the binoculars though, and of course with multi-second exposures it does show up in photos.

Where I live, it is very hilly and full of trees so I wasn't to see the comet. thanks for posting the pictures.

My two sons and I were able to visually see it with the un-aided eye Saturday evening 03/16. Looked fairly impressive in 10X50 binoculars. I was also able to get some photos of it in my old dinosaur Panasonic Lumix L1 4/3rd's DSLR. There's a publicly accessible dock on the St. Johns River looking west that's a favorite hang-out for sunset photographers and artists. My sons were pretty excited to see it.

Incidentally, a 7x50 set of binoculars is ideal for astronomy. 10x50 is also good, but the 7mm aperture is better suited to the dark-adjusted pupil.
