Which Zeiss progressive should I get?

I have a coupon for Zeiss progressive but I'm not familiar with the newer Zeiss lenses. My choices are

    Individual 2
    Individual 2I
    GT2 3DV
    GT2 3D
    GT2 3D Short

Im probably going to use default measurements except for PD and height. Suggestions?
Also, which is the best AR? I can choose Pure Coat, Teflon Elite coating, or Teflon Clear coat.

I appreciate any help or suggestions! Thank you.

What's your rx? What sort of frame size? What would be your fitting heights? Do you want a general-purpose lens or do you wear them mostly for distance or mostly for reading?

I haven't seen a Teflon AR coated lens recently, but if they still have that awful arctic blue residual color, I wouldn't consider it.

    My rx is -1.00-1.00 x90
    -1.50-.75 x 75. +2.25 ou
I haven't picked a frame yet, but it will be about a 50 to 52 eye. Not sure of fitting height. I wear them all the time I'm not wearing my contacts except for reading in bed. I need a general purpose lens with a good balance. I'm not a hard fit, can wear any progressive but there have been a few I have liked less.

    Guffaw! Chortle!.............Cheers!

@Happylady.....I would suggest GT2 3D, (add 0.25 to add for dispensing/detail use)...or the short version if your frame is giving you a height less than 19, use the PureCoat.

Happylady, I wear the GT2 3D and find it a very good lens. I also have one pair of the GT2 3D short which I am not overly fond of but all in all good lenses.

ZEISS Individual 2 is the top-of-the-line product, which would offer the most customization, including the ability to choose between "balanced," "intermediate/dynamic," and "near" lens design options.

Otherwise, if you just want a general-purpose lens design, don't plan to take position of wear measurements, and aren't concerned about features such as the personalized engraving, GT2 3DV would suffice.

If you're not paying for the lenses anyway, I'm not sure that there would be any advantage to considering the basic GT2 3D or GT2 3D Short. PureCoat would be a good AR coating option.

    Best regards,

So the I after the Individual refers to the intermediate area? I know the one with N is a lens that emphasizes the near, so I don't want that one.

What does the V refer to with the GT2 3D?

    Thanks for your help.

What does the V refer to with the GT2 3D?
V = Variable. It refers to the use of a progressive corridor length that varies continuously with the chosen fitting height in order to keep a sufficient amount of reading area inside the frame as the fitting height decreases. Individual and GT2 3DV both use variable corridor technology.

One last question- can I order the Individual using default measurements?

We've been very pleased with all the Zeiss lenses. If price is no factor the Ind.2 is definitely the way to go.

I would chime in with go to the Individual 2, even with default measurements, fantastic open distance viewing area with the cyl. that you have. As to the A/R, go with PureCoat!!! Just my 2 cents.

I've yet to have a positive experience with/feedback on teflon lenses. All of the value seems to be in the name ("Nothing sticks to your teflon pans and nothing will stick to your teflon lens!")
