How to remove an old Fresnel Prism?

I have never done a Fresnel installation before, and I need to remove an old Fresnel from the lens first. Do I just yank it off of there?

You should be able to simply lift the edge at some point on the lens and peel off.

Hold it under running water in the sink, then remove.

If it was applied properly the first time, there should be nothing between the fresnel and the actual lens other than a bit of leftover water (but probably not). Yank away!

Redhot Jumper Adheres well to existing lenses, yet it can be repositioned and easily...............

3M Press-on Prisms, also known as Fresnel Prisms, provide a system for creating prismatic corrections inexpnesively and quickly. Press-on prism material is flexable static vinyl which can easily be cut to shape with scissors to determine the acceptance of a proposed corrective prescription. Adheres well to existing lenses, yet it can be repositioned and easily.
