Smart Flip Clips from E'Lite

Hey Everyone

I just got my order from Discount Eyewear and I had ordered some clips: Smart Flip from E'Lite Eyewear. Interesting as they are magnetic but they also flip up.
What era are these from? It seems E'Lite doesn't exist any longer and I'm too new to the biz to have encountered them in the past. Did they work well on clients or was there some flaw or Aspex sued them....

The flip-up spring hinge wears out or breaks. It's similar to the micro spring hinges found on many frames but smaller. Elite sold many of them with both the flip-up clip and a non-flipping clip.

If you want to have some spares, I have seberal left over. Seven regular and 3 flip up. I would let them go very cheap. email me.

I think Aspex sued them out of existence. I inherited a bunch and we just blew them out on our third party wall to family services and med services. I don't think I would have ever purchased them at full price. The ones I had we're pretty cruddy low grade titanium stuff.
