I just got an email from the Big E promoting their new price list. Unfortunatley for the person that sent it all of the Big E accounts were shown on the heading of the email. Every single email address of every office in Canada) that uses E was listed. Very interesting reading. It gives me a great insight into what the comptetion around me is doing and using as a lab price base, type of lens and markup %. Thank you Big E

I don't buy it for years I have noticed they scrub meta data from every e file I have gotten my hands on and a simple bcc gets out. The use lists and forwarders for things like that, this may be one big experiment.

What rookie move - I bet Coastal was on the list.

I did not see their name but when the list is printed out it takes up 5 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 inch papers, with no spaces and completely fills the page. Obvoiusly Big E has alot of optical stores using their services. It is no wonder they have so much money. It also appears to be a list that covers right across Canada.

Unless it says the information contained is private and confidential i think you can share it, and even then it probably wouldn't be a problem.

Why independents use them is beyond me. Proves there's no loyalty out there. Press bar - drop another pellet please.
