Has Transitions VII been launched in the US yet? It's due to be launched here in the UK imminently. Is it much better than the previous transitions, in practice? How does it compare with PhotoFusion or Suntech Intense?

I was wondering why no has posted here yet. Transitions VII is launching in Europe first, but all the manufacturers I have spoken too have not received samples yet here in the states. There is nothing yet from Transitions officially, re launch dates in the US. Maybe they are waiting until Vantage launches? Oh, it already did.
That's really strange.... Vantage STILL isn't available here. I do have a supplier, but they have to source it from the US. You guys always get everything first, apart from Trans VII it seems. Anyway, I'll report when I've tested a few.
That's very odd.
Russia has them already...
The last time there was a new transitions product, they made the labs use what they had of the old version and filled-in with new product until the switch was complete. This keeps the old stuff from being used and some folks will get the new product while not even knowing it.
I just got a note that they have 1.74 Vantage now, we do a lot of Vantage and use it as a darker transitions.
Most men pick Vantage and 1/3 the ladies.
What's "new and improved" with VII?
There was nothing mentioned about VII at Transitions Academy this year.
What I want is faster change back.
Then go with Photofusion.
Their bloated, flash based website says 92% transmission (in 1.57 and poly w/AR) indoors. (http://www.photofusion.zeiss.com/c1256fba003362da/containertitel/photofusion/$file/frontend.html?Open&lc=US_eng) (but not on an iProduct)
They're as clear as transitions
Vantage isn't available in 1.74. It isn't even available in 1.67 yet. Essilor does finally have regular Transitions in 1.74 (something Seiko has had in SV for over two years), though; perhaps this is what you're thinking of.
Anyone have a link to a site with gen 7? I can't find anything on the googles.
Photofusion turn a very ugly purple gray outside. When I saw the first one, I never would order another.
No link. Call it empirical data. (Provided you're open to a very broad definition of empirical.) Also, I couldn't attest to Canada.
