I kinda like it, but the strange ingredients they throw at them drives me crazy. I guess it shows if they know the characteristics of these ingredients, they have the skills to "marry" them.
I love it! I haven't seen the last couple episodes yet so I'm glad you didn't do a "spoiler" on the grand master thing that's been going on.
I'm just glad I'm not a judge because I am not daring enough to eat alot of that weird stuff!
I love Chopped and so does my husband. I used to cook professionally so understand from personal experience how hard it can be to make something amazing on the fly. I love Iron Chef as well.

Don't worry, I won't give it away, although I was watching the finale this morning before work. It was good.
Its my favorite show. I could watch hours and hours. I totally have a girl crush on Alex Guarneschelli. I love the shows with her on it. Her dry personality is a hoot to watch. I wish they would have a home cooks episode. It would be so fun to do. I watched so many episodes that I'm confident that I could cook up some brains and have them come out pretty good.
OK - I watch Chopped....but you have to try Duck Dynasty! It's NOT what you think!

Annie - when they pair ingredients like peanut butter, shrimp, buttermilk, and soy beans, I have to admire the cook's creativity. But WHO would do this at home?
However - Miss Kay makes a mean dish of frog's legs, crawfish, catfish, etc. And the guys are funny. I "heart" Si!

One of my absolute favorite shows.
I am eagerly awaiting the new season of Duck Dynasty (2/28). I love Southern food, and I make the BEST mac'n cheese in central NY. Add to that walleye, trout, salmon, chicken & waffles - Hands down Jack!
