You're going to be so jealous. I've seen Nickelback live twice. The first time was in a dive bar in Hawaii in either 98 or 99. I didn't know who they were until months later when I heard "Leader of Men" on the radio and it was familiar. I saw them again with Sick Puppies (Awesome) and Breaking Benjamin (also Awesome) back in April 2010.

    Joe Cocker? Good!
    John Mellencamp? Excellent!

Singing and writing are two different worlds. Just because Roseanne Barr might be able to design a swimsuit, doesn't mean I'd want to see her wearing one of the creations!!

Mellencamp is getting old, but he can still jam. I saw him a couple years ago here in Columbia at the township auditorium. He was always one of my favorites.

    Joe Cocker?

    REALLY?

I have heard drunken, three toothed, banjo playing, two left feet, one large thumbed, 1st grade education.......twice, deaf, and love scorned ingrates, wail a much more in tune, on pitch, melodic song down at the Stumble Inn on karaoke night! And most of the karaoke performers have more than one song in the repertoire!

John Mellencamp...........................MEH! Mediocre at best and generally grating!

These two wannabe chumps pale in comparison to true crooners like Marty Robbins, Slim Whitman, and Leo Sayer!

Marty Robbins! Not THERE'S a singer! In fact (true story alert), I used to sing "Streets of Laredo" so much that when my son learned to talk, he asked my wife if she was the "Mexican girl" that dad is always singing about! (She was, kinda, well...in a Hungarian kind of way.)

You need to saddle up your rocking horse and move down here. Your inner cowboy keeps coming out.

*You are referring to being jealous at the crooners down at The Stumble Inn right?

Tell me about it... I rode my horse to high school w/some of the neighbor kids for quite awhile, until people complained that the horses were making a mess on the outdoor basketball court. It's no coincidence that my main office has 3 hitching posts, and we replaced the carpet w/hardwood flooring due to the "organic" traffic.

    Yeah...I'm ready for Texas.

Whoa! Easy there pard'ner! You say the word "hiring" like yer expecting me to work! Hold you horses amigo!

When I move to Texas, I plan to be like the rest of y'all by riding the range in the morning, and sitting next to the pool drinking sweet tea in the afternoon.

Work? The sun MUST be getting to you!

    Now did I mention the word "work"? Oh gosh, you think I want you for the optical? Not for you my Buck-a-roo buddy! No sir-ree. I need you at my dude ranch! It's a life of leisure! I got "fun" activities planned for you Hoss, like;

Cow chip tossin' (got about 20 stables worth)
Seed spittin' ( Time to plant the back 40)
Huevos collectin' ( there's 28 goats that need gelding)
Sand sculptin' ( gotta replace what you took out of them stables)

And at night, when you're back at the ranch hand bunk house, the boys got a fun game called "Head's er Tail's" they'll teach ya. Yes sir-ree, nothin' but fun fer you Wrangler!
