    Is there anyone worse??

Tell me...is there really a worse singer than Kris Kristofferson?

All I can think of is that he must have had some pretty good blackmail goods on someone high up to ever be able to get into a recording studio. I keep thinking that I'll hear something...anything, that sounds even remotely like singing, but everything I hear of him sounds like a heifer caught in a barbed wire fence.

Ok....maybe Bob Dylan is in the same league, but other than him, does Kris hold the ultimate title of someone with nothing that made it (kind of / sort of) in music?

You must not have heard Dylan's recent Christmas album. Kris has an angelic voice in comparison!

Oh come on Johns! You are killing me here!

Sure his signing sounded like dyeing squirrels with smokers throat, but who didn't love Old Leatherface in Convoy?

I too, AM a Highwayman, but you've got to admit that any of Waylon, Willie, or Johnny could have carried that song by themselves...Kris couldn't carry a tune in a feed pail.

The comparison is really not fair, as I believe that they were separated from each other sometime around the age of 2 yrs old, but up to that point, their mother filled their baby bottles with Drano.

I think in order to accurately rate singers, we need to know what you consider to be a 'good' or 'talented' singer. Is it the tone and pitch of the voice? or the emotion behind the words? The poetic nature of the lyrics? So far based on what you don't like about those two, I'd have to assume you think Springsteen is a no talent hack as well....

-that being said I have a real hard time listening to Neil Young. Great songwriter, bad singer. He has even been told that numerous times in his career (according to an interview he gave on the radio) HOWEVER Jimmy Fallon's impression of him is AMAZING!

Springsteen is ok. Actually, Dylan is ok in that he is unique. I don't like him, but I can see why others might. Kristofferson is neither unique, nor talented to me.

Wait...are you talking about BRUCE Springsteen? Oh, yeah...HE sucks! I thought you were talking about Marty Springsteen, the famous crooner from Belfast, Ireland. He's ok, but yeah, Bruce Sprinsteen IS a hack.

Well his singing was not great... but his song writing was. He has alot of songs he wrote for other singers that were hits. Me and Bobby mcgee comes to mind. When Janis Joplin recorded that it went to #1

Kind of the same thing with Dylan... Most 60's classic rockers rate him as a top 5 influence on them. Beatles, Hendrix, Byrds.

But on the singing department one mans Elvis is another mans scratch across the chaulk board

hmmm... all this Kristofferson/Dylan/Springsteen hating makes me wonder, what about John Mellencamp? Or Joe Cocker?? Is it just that gravely voice that you don't like? Or is it something else?

I would much rather go to see a Nickleback tribute band before I would EVER even listen to a Dudsteen song!

Nickelback walks into a bar. There's no punchline, because ruining music isn't funny.

Why is it cool to make fun of Nickleback ? I don't understand. First it was Creed, now Nickleback.
