    Oakley Ophthalmics

Just curious to see if anyone is having the same issues with Oakley as I am having. Their website is useless since many of the frames on it are discontinued. Neither myself or my predecessor have been able to get the Central NC rep to come into the store in over a year. And, quite frankly, nobody at Oakley seems to really care.

We have that problem all the time with Oakley. I have only been working with them for one year and it has been a total headache. Everything is always discontinued or "no longer" available. Our rep complained that we don't have enough product (50 suns and opth. total) and never returns our calls. He told us he would be "stopping by this week." That was before Christmas and 5 phone calls ago. Still waiting.

My biggest issue is that they don't denote when a frame is being "retired". It's a good bet though that if there are fewer than four colors in stock then that model is being phased out. Just select a frame and add it to your cart, and then check the cart and it will show you the availability.

When i worked with the Lux brands, i had a really hard time getting the reps into my office or even to call me back. their crappy customer service is why i dont want to carry any lux product in the office i'm in now!! i haven't had a lot of experience with oakleys since i sold the suns at a sporting store in HS but the rep came up once a year to educate us and we were really remote so it was a nice thing!! that was 10 years ago though :)

We have not seen the rep in over 2 years from Oakley; they are busy with the Hut and Lenscrafters to call on me.
Wait, the previous rep also never came by but once a year or so as well. HE got promoted to manager as a result.

    They are OAKLEY!

Are you sure that the same Rep services company owned stores?
