    New Progressives This Spring! What is Coming?

    I know rumors are flying on what progressive lenses are coming out next month or so, and what they will do. What have you heard?

    I suspect Shamir will release a new lens. As of March 1 the auto 2 is being dropped a category for vsp along with the spectrum and element I believe. I have also heard rumors that hoya is getting on the wagon with AR with additional UV protection and an AR with a blue light filter.

    Zeiss is revamping their line up. Individual 2 will still be flag ship product, and the current offerings, plus some new will form the Zeiss Choice Plus, Zeiss Choice, and a new value FF lines.

    I think most of the major companies will be coming out with new lenses or at least improved lenses. The smaller players should catch up by fall.

    I have heard that lenses with 30% wider zones will be released this VEE, can't wait.
