Just a Quick Thanks

I just returned from my annual trek for my North Carolina CE courses. This year I chose Greensboro, which is also the NCOA's annual meeting, and a mini expo with the vendors. I had the privilege of taking a couple courses taught by our own Laurie Pierce, and actually stayed awake the whole time. After the amount of years I have in this, it's tough to engage me for even an hour, unless I can take 1 piece of info that is new out of it, and Laurie managed that.

I would highly recommend her for any organization needing a vibrant and intelligent speaker.

It was also very nice to meet her in person, and talk over a Fezztail, and share some thoughts. One more optiboarder off my "meet" list.

Ditto on all!
Laurie comes from a family rich in opticianry (her mother and 2 of her sisters are also in optical). We are lucky to get her to NY every so often for CEC programs. She is a great speaker, and a well known opticianry educator. If your state can get her it's well worth it!!!
