I'm after a transitions vantage progressive in trivex, poly or 1.6. Ideally in a design suited to a wrap frame. I'm told vantage won't be available in the uk for at least 6 months. Can anybody help?

I don't believe it's available over here yet either. In addition, it doesn't appear Trivex (Trexa) or 1.60 will be in the initial roll-out. When it hits market, you'll probably be limited to CR-39 or poly at least to begin with.

It's available in Trivex from Hoya and Shamir, as well as the VSP Unity products. No "wrap" specific designs as yet.

just tell me what you want with the specs; we use trivex daily and like the product. I wear one and all of my staff as well.

Might be worth giving Norville a ring, I vaguely remember getting an insert for the catalogue with power ranges and prices of the transitions vantage. No idea if they come in trivex/1.6/PAL though...

I have. In fact, I already got a pair from them well over 6 months ago... but they have had their hands slapped big time for selling what were supposed to be samples.

The chart has lens availability from all manufacturers. HOYA has provided conventional and Freeform technologies in Transitions Vantage Phoenix (Trivex) since the original launch. The Shamir Autograph Advantage is wrap optimized, and is available in 1.50, Trivex, and Poly.
