Judy - Ya gotta go to the Fremont Troll bridge! And ...Archie McPhee's store. Also, Pike Street Market. I'm sure you'll find'em all. Fun city (and the aquarium ain't too shabby either!)
Lost and confused in an optical wonderland!
Have great fun...enjoy.
Diane
Anything worth doing is worth doing well.
Just being there with the kids is joy enough! Everything else, and I'm sure there will be a lot, is just gravy!!
Have you started packing yet Judy?
Thinking about it!
Contact myself and Sharpstick when you get here! Let's get together.

Yes, If you get chance, have dinner at Salty's on Alki, and tell them its a special occasion. Besides Pike Place Market being a must see, if you like flowers the Tulip Festival is an hour north. If you go to Pikes Place, there is a soup place in Post Alley that has the best chowders in the world. How old are the girls?
Have fun! Love Seattle, except the traffic. Although Portlandia is a smidge better
We're going out on the 19th and back on the 23rd. We'll be visiting my son who lives in Auburn and staying in Evergreen. Our daughter and her husband and our grandson (2 1/2) will be there with us, though they're staying on for a quick visit to Vancouver. I'll contact you guys when we get there. I'm really excited to visit!
We're here! So far, we've been to Pike Place Market (and I found an awesome shop--Market Optical), Bainbridge Island and to the incredible Le Faux show at Julia's. Truth be told, I'm a tad hung over. Today we're going to watch our son's cheer team showcase performances before they leave for Nationals in Orlando and then out to dinner. Monday's the Space Needle. I'm gonna need to go home to rest up.
If the weather there is anything like what we will have in Portland this week you are in for a gorgeous week! Mind you we often roll out the sun for visitors but don't forget it is usually rainy and dreary!
