My essilor gamma tracer keeps falling out of the frame as it is tracing. The diagnostic test says call after market service tech. I have a call in, but in the mean time, any thoughts on cause or cure for this? If the frame has even the smallest amount of curve the tracer falls out.

Push down to flatten frame...grab temples and push outward, away from bridge.
Thanks. we have been doing that; but this seems to be getting worse with time. Also this increases the horizontal width of the lens and we have to do more hand work or it warps in the frame.
Place the demonstration lens or the pattern on the plastic holder ( Monocular tracing).
Kappa? Calibrate w/both rimless gauge & metal gauge, if problem continues they may get you for a new table. Poor design, best thing you can learn is to follow the stylist w/ gentle pressure to prevent shape distortion & trace that way or use demo or patterns & learn sizing variations. Of course this only helps in tracers that in gauge movement from the beginning. Owner keeps warranties on few pieces of equip in his labs b/c a new table could run u 5k, 11k for a ctd.
