    Question Superior Vision Plan

Recently, one of our patients asked us if we were in network with Superior Vision Plan. She told us that her company was switching from VSP to Superior Vision Plan. Does anybody work with this plan? Is it worth at all to become a provider? Is it just another example of good for nothing vision insurances you have to run away from?

That's interesting, as I have had people from two different companies say they were leaving VSP Superior Vision Plan. However, I noticed that Superior Vision is located in Rancho Cordova, Ca., the same place VSP is located. Probably not a coincidence. Maybe a sister company?

Different companies, but a few of the people who work at Superior had left VSP many years ago.

Overall, Superior is not a great insurance, there are worse and better, but at least its simple insurance. It's quick to calculate and explain. Its easy to bill. No product limitations.
