I'm looking to replace the temple tips on my girlfriend's vintage frames. They're an old Aluminum and gold American Optical frame. The temple tips are clear but are very worn and faded. Any ideas on where to look would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hilco ?? Or you could make them from an old clear acetate frame.
Take a picture if you can. I have thousands of old temple covers!
If you cant source this item through the usual ophthalmic suppliers/manufacturers you might want to check out the Thomas Register, http://www.thomasnet.com/, the purchasing agents bible for all of these needs. You might start by doing query on "plastic tubing" or "neoprene tubing" which will lead you to the source for whatever you are looking for. However, it is probably not worth your time and effort for a small purchase such as you need.
