    x ray glasses for x ray techs?

    Anyone know anything about protective eye wear for X ray technicians?

    I don't know if you got the info you needed or not. I'm pretty new to the field, but it seems like (at least the old way of doing it) was some sort of glass lens with lead in them. If you did find your answer, I'd love to hear what the solution was.

    The glass contains approx 86% lead oxide (by weight) and at 2.5 mm thick provides .75 mm solid lead equivalent, which is pretty much the industry "standard" for x-ray safety for the wearer.
