Lots of talk about this on Facebook too. Several of us are about ready to try it.
As far as I can discern there is not a single material that would serve as an ophthalmic frame. About the closest characteristics are found in ABS and I cant imagin trying to glaze or adjust an ABS frame.
Mykita is using a polyamide material commercially and it seems to be quite nice for the job. ABS is being used by some, but I agree it isn't all that good.
