    Polarized White for tinting?

    Hi,

My customer ask if it's possible to made a polarized lens with a spécial tint ( gradient color...)?
So, I search a semi finish lens CR39 polarized white for tinting.

    Is it possible or not?

    Best Regard

I am not aware of any gradient polarized options. There are quite a few solid color options. Some can be seen here:

You may be able to find a color light enough that you could tint over. I am not sure what to advise for you.

They'll do it in grey, brown, green or rose.

ditto...she said it didn't feel like as much glare was reduced as a dark polarized lens, but she wanted it more for the fashion anyway, and she got some benefit of the polarized lens, so she was happy.

Younger optics NuPolar has a grey 1 polarized lens that can be tinted according to Younger. It's a very light grey tint so many colors and styles can be applied. My suggestion is to tint it and allow it to thoroughly cool before edging to avoid delamination, although I have never had any delamination problems with any NuPolar products.

Just keep in mind that the clearer a polarized lens is, the less polarization and reduction of reflected glare the lens will provide.

You may want to check the Chinese market, they have been advertising them there.
