I thought I'd share some pictures I took yesterday of the fall colors at Oak Creek Canyon. They are on my Facebook page. Here's the link: Oak Creek Canyon

I can't get the link to work, it says unavailable. Do you need a facebook page to see it? I don't have one, yes, really.
Me too. I can't get the link to work either.

Hmmm...I have this set to 'public' which means that anyone should be able to view it even without a Facebook account. Still having this problem?

Oh my my. Oak Creed Canyon.........brings back memories for me as a child.
Sedona Az was just a wide spot in the road. Slide rock state park was not yet established. We would just pull over where ever we could find a spot and go play in the water and let it push us along. It was great.
We lived in Cottonwood Az at the time and if we wanted to play in the snow we would go up to Flagstaff to do it. Or to the top of Mingus mountain.
Intreasting to find this now because two weeks ago I had a old time in the office, still sharp as a stick. Said at one time he owned 3 acres in what is now downtown Sedona. Said he was one of the last miners out of Jerome there on Mingus mountain just outside of Cottonwood. Said he helped shut those mines down. It sure was great talking with him. And to just think im here in Florida and to come across someone like him was awesome to me.
Last time I was at Oak Creek Canyon couple friends of mine here in town we rode our motorcycles ou to the Grand Canyon and camped at the north rim and woke up in 4 in of snow. We were in tents in early spring. Left there and dropped down through Flagstaff, not much change there, and enjoyed the bike ride into Oak Creek Canyon so much we went up and down the mountainside several times. Just really really enjoyed the ride and the sound of the bikes echoing through the canyon.
Ok enough of memory lane.

The link works fine , the problem is that you have to have your facebook page open and be signed in first before clicking on the link. Try that .
May I suggest also putting the words "Oak Creek Canyon" in a different text color to high light that it is a link ?
Beautiful photos Steve!
Wow, the scenery is amazing...the photographs are stunning!!

CCGreen I didn't know you lived in AZ "back in the day" as I call it. :-)
I lived in Sedona on and off as a teenager. We lived in the VOC for those who know what that is. Best place to catch the creek is to take Verde Valley School Rd all the way down till it turns into a dirt road. Not too many tourists there. Best view of Castle Rock, which used to be my backyard.
You don't realize how beautiful it is till you leave. Thanks for sharing those pics Steve!
