test for arc lenses

Dear All,


We have started arc facility in India. We want to test plastic ARC lenses and glass ARC lenses before launching Arc product.

Can anybody guide to perform test. Thanks in advance.

adhesion test, important for any type of coating

with a pen knife cut 4 or 5 lines 1mm apart and the same at 90 degrees, resulting in 1mm squares. stick a strip of packing tape over it and pull it of fast.
If there are any of the squares ripped off, the adhesion has to be improved until none come off.

there was also another article in some MAFO issue - especially about AR coating tests from Satisloh, try to find it at calameo.com

But the most used tests of AR coating quality is:
- Bayer
- adhesion test with tape described in post above
- QUV

Thanks for reply, but if i am not mistaken adhesion est can be done on Plastic whereas i want test for mineral glass arc
