Lens etching machine missing something ?

I found a lens etcher that I want to use but it seems to be missing some sort of a collection bag.
It looks like the one pictured. Isn't it missing a bag, and if so, where can I get one ?
    Thanks.

I never used a bag for those safety sandblasters. They put out very little residual sand. If you're still worried about it, get a bag of Bull Durham. Chew the tobacco and use the empty bag as a collector.

Not sure about that myself -- the bag helps form back pressure and ensures that you get the sand up into the blow-hole.

Mike, I used the exact model pictured for over 20 years. There is no problem leaving it uncovered, it is simply an exhaust port for excess air pressure. Once again, very little residual sand come out of that port.
