    Hoya lens engraving

I have a patient who had a pair of Hoya PALs dispensed in NYC last year to her then current prescription.

She really liked the lens design (we had previously put her into Varilux Physio 360s, which she didn't like as much)

The lenses from NYC were Hoya lenses with the nasal engraving of L4P

The lenses look, feel and sound like poly (which Hoya don't do here)

I asked our Hoya lab here what the lenses were, but they couldn't give me an exact answer.

Would anyone be able to give me an answer to this one or direct me to where I may be able to find out?

    Many Thanks,

    Paul.

Yes, according to the 2011 progressive identifier the id Lifestyle uses an L to identify the lens, the 4 stands for the 14mm corridor, and the P is polycarbonate.
