A lack of planning on your part DOES NOT constitute an emergency on mine!

Depends on your water, Along with the elbow grease, C.L.R. would be a good start.

Elbow grease and a tooth brush. All, of course, supplied by someone else.

    1) Invest in a foaming bathroom cleanser, aerosol container. Test different brands, they are different in formulation. This will assist in the clinging of the cleaner to small parts.
    2) Toothbrush, yes, but I also find that old paint brushes of various length and size of handles, works well. My favorite is a round handled, round brush.
    3) Invest in a permanent keeper spray bottle, that has a variable pattern of spray capabilities, and has a lot of pressure.....and fill with hot water, when rinsing the cleanser away.
    4) When buying ultrasonic cleaners..........buy one with a large tank. It is helpful in dis-assembly and cleaning of spout, clamping parts, etc.
    5) Happy cleaning. For dry chamber clean-up. I like to use air pressure, and the paint brushes.

Why do you want to clean it? It's going to get dirty again anyway. It works just as well dirty as it does clean.

Mr. Lex is going on his first date with Miss 7070 and I want him to make a good 1st impression.

I ask for advise because every time I put him in the bathtub, he jumps out and shakes water all over me!
