    start a business

My wife and I are trying to start a business and we have a few ideas of what we can do. One thought has been cleaning offices. Does anyone here have outside people that clean your office? What all do they clean? How often do they clean? How much do they charge?

I was thinking vacuum, trash, dusting, bathrooms, windows and mopping.

I had a co-worker once who did that as a side business with his wife. It was very hard to find accounts to clean and hard work cleaning. But, once they found a few accounts, they actucally started making a good side income. Good luck to you.

My nephew’s wife found herself unemployed a few yearsago. She started a concierge service providing services for the employees of afew large office buildings in town. Today she has eight full time employees andis making a pant load of money and paying a pant load of taxes. She is workingsixty plus hours a week and loves it.

That is what I get done here, but he doesn't touch the shelves I have frames on. He been cleaning here for over 20 years, does an ok job. Once a week, $200 a month.

House cleaning is big here in the summer, with all the rentals. I have a young (28) customer who started her own biz last year, and now has 165 weekly house cleanings, and about 20 year round resteurants she cleans. She has 9 full time year round employees, and in the summer another 60 contract workers.

My older brother retired from a supervisory civil service job, and promptly opened a yard maintenance service. He is running 24/7, 365, with staff

I have a husband, wife, and daughter clean my main office each Thursday. They wipe the baseboards, dust, wipe down the hardwood floors (1200 sq ft), and take out all the trash. I pay them $450 per month.
