I have a patient that is wearing a D-28 glass photo sun grey with a grey 2 coat back surface. (which I understand are not made any longer).
My question is can you tint over the new Transitions advantage without affecting the polarized affect?

There are many things in life that catch your eye... but very few things will catch your heart.... Pursue those!
The tint would be on the backside of the lens, so activation would not be affected. All Transitions Lenses come with a non tintable hardcoat. The only way to tint Transitions lens is surface the backside and apply a tntable hard coat to the back.
None of the stock FSV can be tinted, both sides are factory hardcoated.
Just remember, once you do tint, you lose any available warranty from the lens manufacturer.
