Would anyone be interested in shareing what we put on our office FB page? Just little articles, links, bits of wisdom, jokes, and pictures. Things we can copy from here and put on our own FB page. I will start:

We have a Pinterest account for our office where I collect all of the funny, informative, and interesting tidbits for our FB page. I also use Polyvore to create weekly fashion spreads that showcase the frame lines we carry. Here is an example of one I created during the Opympic Games:

Great idea, I run all of the social media for our office and am always looking for new things to add. Facebook for a while now but only recently added pinterest and ehhhh twitter.

A guy is walking past a mental hospital when he hears a moaning voice "... 13 ... 13 ... 13 ..."
The man looks over to the hospital and sees a hole in the wall. He looked through the hole and gets poked in the eye. The moaning voice then groaned "... 14 ... 14 ... 14 ..."

If I could offer just one piece of constructive criticism without offending, is the angel profile picture the logo or just clip art that was found. Just seems a bit off.

If I could offer just one piece of constructive criticism without offending, is the angel profile picture the logo or just clip art that was found. Just seems a bit off.

It's clip art, we had trouble finding anything that looked like an angel when the page was started. We should have a logo, might be a good job for Grizelda today.

Personally, we have had a great response. We have a sign up in our office saying they'll get 20% off their eyeglasses order if they "like" our page (with the usual disclaimer of can't be combined with such and such)...but most importantly, it's a great way for us to let our patients/guests know about what new product we are carrying, what specials may be going on, if we have a special even taking place (i.e., trunk show). Also it is the perfect tool to post articles about the dangers of contacts sold through illegal venues and such. It is also a good way for them to see our store if they have never been there before, meet our staff, and see what kind of selection we carry. But that is just us, definately not saying that it is for everyone

I use mine as a personal blog of sorts. I post frames (some pretty weird ones), lenses, equipment, news, recipes, the Dalai Lama, jokes, and some things that are tooo cute to pass up.
