Optical/Chocolate Shop ..... I'd be one FAT optician, LOL
Optical/Tanning Salon ..... I'd be a dark sexy optician, ROFL
Day Spa.... Well I am a trained and Certified Massage Therapist also, that might work.
Now we have a Bar in our optical center..... Maybe I need to install Taps

I attended a meeting of NAIT students and met an Optician/Barber from Idaho. Get your glasses adjusted while getting a haircut. I think she has added a third activity recently.
I saw an article in a trade mag awhile back that had an optical shop paired with an ice cream parlor.I think you really couldn't go wrong with donuts
Optical & Audiology seem to go hand in hand pretty often.
My town has one of the optical/tanning salons. I hope they stay open forever, they are great for business.
Open a high end adults only shop with a good bartender. Much easier to sell high end stuff after the patient has had a few.

I had a bar in one of my offices. We served wine while they looked at frames. (Only about 10% of the patients accepted the offer). We remodeled a few years later and left the bar/reception desk out.
There was a guy that retired last year around here that sold pies. From what I hear, he did more in pies than glasses.

There is a combination Optical and Hair Salon, where the frames are in the waiting room. They don't do very well though.
I thought of mixing Optical with Bikini Baristas so you can get coffee and glasses at the same time, and call it Hot Gl-Asses.
While attending the world famous HCC in Tampa, Fla., I was required to do a marketing plan for an optical start-up. The name of my project "store" was Tropical Optical. I had the store laid out to look like a beach, complete with cabanas, and a tiki bar, and the opticians (all women) had uniforms that consisted of grass skirts and coconuts!
Although Dr. Norm Ross was not the instructor for the project, I ran it by him, and he said it would probably be a definite "A" if I had some of my classmates model the uniforms. (I didn't, but got an "A" anyway).

Optical and 'Whoopie Parlor"?? Sorry, this thread reminded me of a joke I heard at Ole's earlier today.
We have an optical/hearing aides and an optical/false teeth nearby.
I heard there is a place in Virginia, optical one side, guns the other. My kind of store.
Hmmmmm...haven't found that one yet.
