Anyone out there can help with purchasing retail optical POS software for my new optical store? What software is good? IFILE?

Try the My Vision Express - I did the one year trial and purchased it after the trial period. Works great for me and the cost was very reasonable compared to the others on the market.

iFile seems to be the standard in Canada... but it's not fantastic.

IFile seems to be more common in E. Canada. So far I've noticed VisualEyes in more OD's offices vs any other sys in western Can. Our office is about to install IFile next week. Currently using VisionWare and considered Ocuco, MyVison Express but went w/ IFile as we had used it in Ont when we 1st graduated and cost is very low considering the features you get.
I'd be curious to hear the problems/limitations/concerns with IFile??
