gerber sgx spindle motor problems

Hello, I have a gerber sgx plus generator and we are constantly have problems with blown fuses. spindle motor replacement and the amp supply as well we have tried two differant sgx's and both have the same issue. all I hear from gerber tech support is to keep replacing the parts which seems like a waste fo money. Does any one out htere have the same problems and how did you fix them.

Little bit more information needed. I do have an SGX and have had Spindle issues before, but not with blown fuses. Is it showing an error message or it is happening on certain job types?

yes there is an error message it states spindle error and then the servo turns off

How old is sgx. I have changed about 30 wiring looms on sgx's. Depending on how good you are with multimeter , you could do some checks between servo board and i/o board to see if its broken wire. Io boards do give that error when gone as well

I believe thats its an 2004 model. its has seen heavy use and the wiring harness was replaced in may of this year

Have you changed main motor yet? I have also seem me fit quite a few motors before the problem goes away. Did you say you had a second sgx?

Yes I have still have the error gerber said I also need a control box

I am not sure if you have the maintenance manual but it has quite a few causes that it could be. I could email you a picture of all the possible causes and remedies if you would like.
