    Antique?

    Hello,
My father was an optometrist and in cleaning out his office we found an old piece of optometry equipment. I've attached two photos of the item and was wondering if you could be of assistance in identifying the equipment.
    Thank you,
    Ara Parseghian

If Chris hasn't seen it, you can be assured it is antique.

It looks like a stereoscope to me...but the septum seems turned or twisted about 90 degrees

Well, if they would have said it was 8 feet by 14 feet, I might have thought is was an antique piece of playground equipment.

Coach, when did you stop coaching and doing sports television interviews. I'm sure it paid better than the optical business.
