It's High Time We Stopped Referring to Plano as Non-Prescription

About 25 years ago- prior to working in the industry- I had an eye exam and the result was plano; I had them write out a script and used my eyewear benefit on plano Serengeti drivers.
What would happen today in that scenario? I am curious as we do not take any insurance.

If you would have VSP as your insurance, you would not be able to get eyewear (unless you had a plan that specifically covers "plano" sunglasses, or after laser correction under most "Signature" plans).

They have a +/- 0.50 combined power in any meridian minumum prescription criteria.

One could always fill the Rx with a plano and put + or - .12 down on the form as this is within tolerance for a plano ant everyone would be happy.
