Thanks. I definitely am happy.

For me the hardest part was waiting for the results. Oh and the post mark on mine was neither Friday the 13th like I was told or the Sunday the 15th like some were told. My post mark was Wednesday the 18th.

Congratulation to you. Start with the one that you know the most about. Achieve both. At the time I became ABOM/FCLSA, there were only 7 in the entire country with both. I think there are still fewer than 15. Most folks focus on one or the other since they specialize in one or the other.

Thank you Diane. I was ecstatic when i opened the envelope last night. How does one prepare for and what are you qualified to do with an ABO-M.

Congrats to all who passed their exams!

OPTI_: The first step is the ABO advanced exam. After passage of that exam, you are eligible to complete a research paper about a technical advanced opticianry topic. Upon approval by the committee, you are designated an ABO master optician or ABOM.

Congratulations to you for a job well done. The Master in Ophthalmic Optics will involve writing a thesis. It is well described on the ABO/NCLE website. Since you passed the ABO Advanced, the paper is all you have left. Then on to NCLE and beyond.

Thank's I really appreciate it, finally the waiting is over. Now, I'm still thinking what topic should I write for the thesis. I'm also interested to take NCLE.
Honestly, I prefer mathematics, calculations, problem solving than thesis. God bless you.

Thanks, I really expect to get a high score but I didn't do good in BUSINESS MANAGEMENT for lack of references. I really like the MATHEMATICS/ OPTICS part, maybe because
I'm a Mechanical Engineer, but now working as a full time optician. Anyways, I really thank God for letting me passed the exam. so that I can serve our patients better. God bless you.
