Customer can only wear SOLA lenses

Honestly, I've tried her in other progressives and she doesn't like them. So now it's Friday, the labs are closed, and she's brought back an old pair of sunglasses for her new (post cataract) Rx. Several years ago I made her polarized sunlenses called "SOLA Evolution" on the advice of someone at the SOLA office, but it is not listed in the Progressive Lens Identifier. (I hate the new format of the Identifier, but that's a rant for another thread.) Can anyone suggest a polarized progressive in CR39 for my customer?

I should have explained better: She wears only the SOLA VIP. She was comfortable with the polarized SOLA Evolution. Which SOLA lens would be most like the Evolution? Fitting height is 21.

    Thanks!

The way I see it, if she's in a VIP right now, you should be able to pretty much put her in anything and she'll see an improvement. Unless she's gotten used to the harder design of the VIP. You're in a bit of a pickle there though, because anything Sola (AO) makes now is going to be quite different than the VIP... though that being said, why not just go back to the VIP? I think you can still get it in limited capacity (options like photochromatic tints etc are quickly disappearing though). What lenses have you tried her in that she didn't like?

Wonder if this patient can't drive a Ford because he's used to Chevrolet's?

The VIP doesn't come in polarized CR39. The lab recommended AO Easy, so I'm going to try that and keep my fingers crossed.

I've substituted the Shamir Genesis successfully. Of course it costs more.

A big +1 on the Frames Data book. I still refer to the 2010 edition most of the time. I think they want us all on line anyway and this is a way to aggravate us into making the switch.

It's just a great lens really... don't really dispense it anymore though.
