Absolutely, as you know, when we open a category, we launch a new product in that category, with some features, this is the one we launched with Optifog, with the activator. which really is a lens cleaner, which has an effect of activation.

Our R&D is extremely active on future generations. Some of them go in your direction. We also have some research on the performance and the longevity of the effect of course. Again, you have to understand that opening a new category, like we do usually, will do with innovations on a regular basis.

Very interesting reading... I was also a bit taken aback by their placement of readers in Dollar General stores. I guess they want to eat from both sides of the apple.

It's kinda sad that optical industry will buy almost anything thats sold by lux or essilor, starting from crappy glasses, free form BS to anti fog gimmicks

I think it is interesting that Mr. Sagnieres would say that Optifog is "really a lens cleaner", but I'm not putting too much stock in it being a damning statement. This type of quarterly is more financial- updating the investors as opposed to providing definitive info regarding a single product and the tech aspects. The audience for this generally wants to be reassured that there is progress and the numbers are good and profitable.

Now whether or not Optifog is truly effective? Still working on that. We've had some patients try, but just a few. Have received neither complaints nor raves yet.
