    Alaska License

Hello all I live in Alaska and I am a Certified Optician, I have my 1,800 hours for my state license and I am on my third book of the OCPP course through N.A.O. I am very excited about getting my license I am hoping to be done by November. I received an 89% on my ABO a 85% on my first OCPP book 92% on the second and I am working towards the third. Sorry if I sound like I am gloating but I am very excited to get to a successful point in my life thanks for listening guys and gals!

It is absolutely refreshing to read the post above. It is wonderful to see the enthusiasm and attitude of one who is seeking to learn to be the best there is. I think we all forget how we felt at the same stage in our careers, maybe because we have taken our profession for granted and become somewhat stale in our outlooks. Great post and I have every confidence that Subbieman will arrive exactly where he is headed. Congratulations!

No apologies! You are working towards something, I think most of us are pretty darn proud of you!

A man went to an eye specialist to get his eyes tested and asked, "Doctor, will I be able to read after wearing glasses?"
"Yes, of course," said the doctor, "why not!"
"Oh! How nice it would be," said the patient with joy, "I have been illiterate for so long."
