I think it must have been Doctorfest that we went to. The name alone should have been enough to give us a head's up. Why not something creative like "Conjuctivepallooza"? Not to bash the parties, but the opening night party was even snoozier.
I think our only hope is the OWA party. I'm just having a difficult time deciding between pumps, wedges, or heels. (This drag thing is new to me, so bear with me.)

Hey, am I at the right place? My flight just landed, I drove my car to the hotel, and the only people checking in were pediatricians. Something's really weird about this. Last year, every time I turned around I'd run into someone I knew.

Sarcasm? Who would joke about something like this!! This is serious stuff!
Now, I'm going to have to sit around here, doing absolutely nothing, possibly trying to crash a pediatrician convention, and then re-book a hotel for next week! Maybe if I can sneak into the convention, I can score enough baby food samples to hold me over until my optical friends arrive to bail me out.
I haven't even mentioned how much this is going to cost me! I work hard for a living,and had to "borrow" the money from the proceeds of my son's summer job. I'm sure he won't mind, but he really was looking forward to buying braces for the rest of his teeth. (Up to now, he could only afford to pay for one molar and a bicuspid) Oh well, maybe I can parlay what I have left into something big, and everything will be alright.

I am meeting some friends at the Palazzo, Double Helix bar, on Wednesday night from about 6:30 to 8:30. Casual type of thing, a little business, a lot of warm friends. Your welcome to find us.
If it was me, I would fully study the optical properties of electro-chromic glass used in the co-ed restroom stalls in the TAO night club. But that's me just being a science geek. You can look for me, I will be there with my slide rule and a pair of binoculars.
