In the age of wave front, digital,High Definition, customizable PAL's which "old school" PAL (that is still available)did you have best success with and a what seg height?

I always had good luck with the Signet Navigator (20) and Navigator short (17). Also the Natural (20)

Ditto on Natural. I used to fit AO Pros in the first office I worked in, once people learned to point their nose, all was well :)

I trust the Image and it comes in so many materials.

I have used the Image alot to, and never had a problem. My good doc says he doesn't like it but he has never worn it. It does come in alot of materials. Recently I have had good luck w/ the Unity for my VSP pts. It's strong for drill jobs. But only one lens has the water mark in it. I know it's not old school. But I tell all my pal people no matter what they are in to point thier noise at what they want to look at.

I liked the Natural in low adds, but found the reading narrowed a bit too much over a +2.00. I did have good luck with the Image, but I fit so many Gradal Tops that Zeiss rented a boat, and took my entire office on a dinner cruise. It was a great lens when B's were at 35 mm or larger.

I'll chime in for both Essilor's Natural and Younger's Image (both fit at 19mm and up. Once fit at 18 there is just WAY too much head movement involved to see decently out of the near area)

I like the Image and Ovation for bigger eye sized frame that are hard to find big blanks for. They usually come with a lot of options for material and colors. I do have some opticians that HATE the Image, but I can usually appease them with the Genesis.
