    I couldn't resist!

Yes, and I understand there is medication for that. Retreating to a warm environment also helps!

It's interesting how they all try the same tired routine for crisis management:

".....don't admit anything, don't say anything , don't do anything, just offer a vague promise of, "We'll look into it and get back to you."

and of course they never do anything or get back to you , they just motor on with the same scams.

When you read all the antics, nonsense and scams that go on you really wish that investigative reporter Peter Silverman would come out of retirement. That guy would latch on to a scam and sink his teeth into it with class and style and embarass the daylights out of the scammers till they smartened up.

You simply have to admire that man for the ethics and morals he tried to instill in our society. It is such a shame that morals and ethics are missing from our leaders . He made the media a correctional facility.

When you analyse how a politcal event goes wrong and how it always winds up in the media and why leaders lose their jobs , it is almost always the same story , greed and they feel they can keep on scamming because they have not been caught yet.

Usually there is always a warning sign and usually the leaders ignore the warnings until it is too late, by that time someone is fed up and things wind up with an investigative reporter or auditor and then heads roll .....BOOM ,,, no more job , there is a big mess and people are fired !

It really makes you wonder why we can't just have ethics and morality and honesty to begin with then we could avoid this cycle that is going to keep repeating itself.

Now take these election issues for instance , our leaders should know the difference between right and wrong and yet they still tampered with the elections . Of course they are going to get caught with their pants down and our leaders are going to be dealt with in the media correctional facility.

We are not some revolutionary backwards country . We are Canada , yet our leaders still think they are pirates on the high seas about to raid another treasury ship and no one will notice their indiscretions . They still operate with a full load of larcency for ballast.

Their antics remind me of a white shag rug and a glass of red port wine. Once you spill that wine , no matter how hard you try you just can't get it all out of that white rug. You can't unpour that wine. That stain on the carpet is there to taint those leaders forever.

If our leaders only had morals, then all this media about elections would not be there and some people would still have their jobs and their reputations . When you are ruled by larceny though I guess you don't think about the wine stains that paint the taint marks on your character.

Your posts can lead one to believe that you are describing federal, provincial, municipal, civil, or even optical association(provincial) politics! Avarice and vice is a common Canadian political event.....but more subtle, and minor as compared to the world stage. Your observation could describe the previous government(s) actions as well.

Yeah, it could cover almost anything .

I was reading the morning news and it certainly covered the Robocalls news , how disgusting is that ? Calling voters and sending them off to non-existant polling stations during an election , geez !

And it certainly covered the morning news about our Health Mnister and the ORNGE air ambulance affairs . OMG . $ 500,000 custom motorcycles , speed ski boats purchased for personal use and helicopters retrofitted for 12 passengers that can't carry ambulance patients. Then they talk about millions of dollars in suspect payments from suppliers.

But it's pretty general or as specific as you want , feel free to jump in.

Today's morning news is equal to yesterdays . Robo calls were experienced across the country and some claim that the present MOH had early warning of the ORNGE affair according to others . Hmmm , didn't the present MOH replace a previous one over the e-health scandal ? Now we have the ORNGE scandal .

Is there anyone we can trust with money or election matters ?

    Redhot Jumper The Ornge scandal....................................

    The Ornge scandal

    Ottawa CitizenMarch 22, 2012

Auditor General Jim McCarter's critique of the provincial air ambulance service Wednesday was much as expected, but devastating all the same.
The provincial auditor detailed how senior management and some board members of the provincially-created agency set up a complex web of private companies. Millions of dollars were shifted around in ways that are now being investigated by the Ontario Provincial Police. The air ambulance service, called Ornge, wasn't even doing a good job at delivering patients to hospitals. Service volumes were down but costs were up sharply. A land ambulance operation delivered only 15 per cent of the promised service.

If this were just a poorly performing agency, that would be one thing, but the unusual and complex arrangement at Ornge was presented to senior provincial officials, including Health Minister Deb Matthews. No one raised an alarm.

Back in 2008, a former Ornge accountant blew the whistle on the unusual spending. The Health Ministry said it looked into the allegations and saw no problems. The government did nothing until the pressure from the avalanche of media stories became unbearable.

When Ornge was created in 2006, the government made explicit promises about offering oversight and setting standards. That didn't happen.
The money involved is considerable. The province has spent $730 million to operate Ornge since 2006, plus $300 million in capital expenditures for a fancy headquarters and more helicopters and planes than Ornge itself said were required. Taxpayers are on the hook for that debt.
