Question Help - hair getting stuck in logo on temple!

Greetings Optiboarders, I dispensed a pair of glasses this week. It was a first time progressive, so when she came back the next day, I thought I knew why. She tells me she can see great and loves the way they look and feel, but every time she takes them off (which of course, she does all the time as a newly presbyiopic low myope) she get hair stuck between the metal Gucci logo on the zyl temple.

She does not want me to remove the logo but wants me to solve the problem. Any suggestions? Perhaps apply some type of sealant?

Put a few coats of clear nail polish over it?

This sounds crazy. Ask her if she isallergic to peanut butter? If she says no. Tell her to take creamypeanut butter and try it 1st on the end of the temple 1stto make sure it does not discolor, and then to rub all over templesand wash off. And then to do this for 3 days. Tell her this willbuild up a wax which will make the hair slide off the logo.

This of cause will do nothing to theglasses (It will just make her think it is, do not tell her it is). She will have to learn how to pull her glasses out of her hair w/outthem getting stuck in them. It sounds like a static-clean problemshe is having w/ the hair getting stuck in the frame.

    Hope this helps

You might suggest that she not take them off all the time, too.

I go with "clear nail polish" or "car wax" solutions, not "peanut butter"
