    Because they can!! That's how it always goes - people will charge as much as they can get away with charging - This goes for everything in life - Go to a poorere neighborhood and prices for the same things will be less cause they know they can't get it there. Where are the most expensive supermarkets? In the neighborhoods that will pay the prices - Ever get a hospital bill? $20 for hand cream cause they know the insurance will pay
