I am a new bee to this forum.

Can anyone pls help by stating how I can achieve 3d View of a lens (with ET on mouse hoover) from a surface file. (HMF / SDF) ?

Thnks in advance for all your help.

    Best Regards,

I don't think the software exists....yet. There is a program or two that can be used to design lenses before surfacing and will yield a 3D picture of it.

      Hello,

I have the data form our LMS (calculation result) and freeform surface file for both eye. So I know front curve from the LMS and Sag data from the freeform surface file (.hmf). Is it possible to generate backcurve from the Sag data (what is the formula ?) . and calculate difference of Back and front curve.

It exists; we just haven't released it yet.

          Hello!
Is there any possibility that I could have an overview of the software? Where can I get it?

If you can find an old copy of SOLA-Rx around, it shows 3D views of lenses, which you can also rotate, along with thickness profiles. Since we can no longer provide support for it, the software is no longer available from Carl Zeiss Vision though.

            Best regards,
