Are you ordering your free pair?

I hope all ECP's and their staff, are ordering their free pair of glasses from Clearly CL's this weekend. It's for new customers only.

    Regards

I am not sure what you might accomplish doing this. You may be thinking that it will increase the cost of raw materials for Mr. Hardy, Lindros, and MP____________________., and you might be right.

I believe, though, that an e-mail addy, yours, and added statistics, pairs shipped, are more important to Roger and Co. It's all about face for the shareholders. It's all about crediblity. and even the ability to state that ECPs order from coolstal, is gold.

Good point about the tracking and stats but it gets to my next discovery. It may not be news to many OB'ers but here me out.
I was poking around the CC website in the Investors' Relations section the financial ststements can be viewd. So far in 2011 they ran at a loss. Please comment as to if I'm reading this right...
How long can a publically traded company give away glasses. Yes they can point to a weekend of 17K unit "sales" when they have a free 10K offer. People paid CC $10 for shipping of the free pairs, so CC can claim 100K in "sales" from the give-aways in one weekend. Plus what ever they made actually selling the rest to clients. But thats a lot of work to make just $10. Lots of advertising: Trevor doesn't come cheap.
I've been checking prices and they have increased the entry point for PAL's so the reality of running a lab and paying Cdn's may catching up...

I'm gonna give it a shot - gotta support those suppliers that provide their services to internet retailers. Nice disco Lx frame with some E Crazeall lenses, can't wait. Let's see how they handle the warranty.
