The stylus will not move up to meet the eyewire and it will not trace in rimless mode. Has anyone had this issue with their 7070? Thanks

Yep, Only solution I know of is to get your tracer recalibrated. I know of no other fix.
I calibrated the tracer but it didn't fix the problem. The stylus doesn't move up at all, but all other movements seem to be ok. Thanks for the input.
I had a similar situation with a Kappa tracer. Turns out is was the clamping table. Make sure all of the posts and sleeves are in working order and clamping properly. The table "senses" the eyewire thickness in order to place the stylus into the frame. If the table doesn't sense a frame or rimless adapter the tracing cycle will not begin. Another thought is that the stylus may not be homing properly. This is what I would try: Try different types of frames with varied eyewire thickness...metal and/or plastic. Manually move stylus up as you begin a trace to actuate the tracing cycle.
am getting used 2G lens generator with software. can someone help me how to use the machine and how to install it , video illustration will be welcome
Did you do the tensile calibration or just the regular calibration? Run the tensile (I think thats what it is called) one during start up by holding the L and R buttons while the edger is starting up. If this doesn't work call a Professional.
