    Wave Interesting Video

Interesting video about making acetate for frames from Mazzucchelli. About the best material there is.

    http://www.mazzucchelli1849.it/eng/video.php

And since someone is going to get the idea to make 6 million frames from this stuff and become an instant gazillionaire, here is the machine that you need.

    Jacqui:

No disrespect meant here, but I so TOTALLY disagree!

It may be the best acetate material, but acetate is far from the best frame material.

This I don't have an answer to, because it hasn't been made into eyewear yet.

I think Mazzucchelli does have the finest Acetates.... and Barry, I think Jacqui was only referring to Acetates.

Their Acetates have a shine, richness and depth of color that most others lack. They have been making them since the 1860's though, so I think they have it down. They do take longer to "set" though, so many Mazzucchelli frames come out of adjustment faster when new. It goes away in a few months and they stay put.
