Anyone have one that is well calibrated (or at least off the same amount every time) and reasonably priced. We are down to one pupillometer now (one stolen, one broken) and I'm not excited about the alternative.

I have a used Essilor digital pupilometer. We got a new one but we still use this one too even though we cant get the light to turn on inside. May need a new bulb but the filament looks complete. It works fine as long as you aren't testing in a dark room. $50.00

I may be wrong but usually the bulb is used to reflect off the center of the pupil and measurment is from that reflection? We have new ones at $295 and offer opti boarders 10% discount. Don@superoptical.com
It is correct that the light source that illuminates the focusing target also creates a corneal reflex as the reference so without the light working on ours, my staff was instructed to bisect each pupil with the visible reticule to obtain the pd. It was found to be more accurate than using a pd ruler once we had our new working pupilometer. I assume, however, that a corneal reflex will yield to most accurate repeatable measurements.
