My question is to get idea what could be minimum investment required to start with concept of to sale only eyeglass? I do not have wish to buy edger.
can any one you give idea of investment segment wise? e.g. equipments- LENSMETER, BLOWER/ PUPILOMETER / software / DR.;s chair /phoropter . I will expand once I make money from business.Average price for good condition used product could be ok.
Also is keratometer is must for visiting optometrist by law where licensing exist or to get Rx.?

It depends and varies according to region.If you are doing the work on a commercial and congested business area then you have to bear more expenses.Other wise if you are skilled of this profession then 20 to 2500 Dollars are enough to just take a start.

I would only add that the cost you should also include, is the time and emotion of being self-employed. Some people forget to include this in their calculations!
