Are you fining too hard or too long? Are you measuring your thickness right off the generator or after fining?
Yes problem is inconsistent, so what to d?
Is your blocking and chucking consistent? Before you blame the machinery, check your manual procedures, especially if things are inconsistent
Problem will likely be more on thicker, low base blanks. Try turning off cribbing cycle to determine if lenses are pulling out of the chuck. or stopping in between cribbing cycle and curve/thickness cycles. Change or rotate the cutters or new blocks or tighten chuck.

at first i would try to calibrate the generator. Do the plano back curve and check by sag meter if plano is really plano, if the lens thickness with block is the same like those you set to generator and check the diameter as well.
If everything will be ok, do the -6.00 curve and measure by sag meter.
