    No, I think they still punch his ticket when he drives through the gates. All the seasoned citizen put their bocce and shuffleboard games on hold and make a beeline for his front door when they see him driving up. They're looking for their free samples of Systane, and to get their complimentary frame de-cheesing.

    For a long time, he was held in even higher esteem, as they thought he was the activities director, but then word got out that he "just" an optician!
